How do I check a pharmacy is legitimate and can legally operate in Ontario?
Every pharmacy operating in Ontario must be licensed by the Ontario College of Pharmacists (College). You can confirm a pharmacy is licensed using the College’s Find a Pharmacy / Professional tool.
Steps to validate a pharmacy:
- Go to https://members.ocpinfo.com/tcpr/public/pr/en
- Select Find a Pharmacy tab
- Enter details you know (you don’t need to fill every field)
- Click Search
- Click on the pharmacy’s name to open their public profile
- Check the pharmacy’s operating status on their profile (e.g., Entitled to operate)
