Smoking Cessation

Pharmacists are authorized under the Pharmacy Act, 1991 to prescribe certain drugs for smoking cessation treatment. Pharmacists can also support patients seeking smoking cessation counselling support, provide quit smoking materials and links to other community supports as appropriate.
